Public Service Leadership Excellence Programme

The programme aims to empower leaders at the highest levels of leadership in Uganda’s Public Service with the knowledge and skills to lead with purpose and steward Uganda effectively amidst the challenges of today’s world. Through international exchanges and cross-sector dialogues, the programme is designed to broaden the participants’ perspectives and help them to understand how other countries respond to common challenges. The programme will also create a platform for Uganda’s senior leaders to learn from one another and enhance whole-of-government collaboration and communication to improve coordination and deliver better services to their
citizens.

The objectives of the programme are to:

• Enhance and strengthen strategic leadership and governance skills
• Foster cross-sector collaboration and leverage diverse perspectives to drive change, improve coordination and enhance service delivery
• Expand global perspectives through benchmarking and exchange
