He is a retired Public Servant with 36 years of experience in the service, He has worked both in Local Government at the District level and in Central Government Ministries and Departments, under local government from 1978 to 1990, in central Government he served as Senior Assistant Secretary, Office of the President 1991 -1993, Head Administration, Electoral Commission 1997-1999, Director Finance and Administration, National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO). (2000-2005), National Project Coordinator, Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project, Ministry of Water and Environment. (2006-2014),
