Summary

• Jeremy Namanya is the current Deputy RDC of Lyantonde, a position I have held since March 2022. Jeremy is also a lawyer by profession and prior to his appointment had garnered vast experience in transactional, land, family and immigration law.
• Jeremy is among the founding members of the NRM YOUTH ALLIANCE, a pressure group that fought tooth and nail to garner support for President Museveni and the NRM government in the previously conclude 2021 elections among the elite and university youth in the country.
• As deputy RDC in Lyantonde, Jeremy has used his legal back ground to guide the community on land rights, family and succession legalities, among other areas of the law. Indeed, the community can attest to the tremendous role he has played in mediating several disputes that would have otherwise ended in protracted court sessions. He is also lauded for securing a win-win situation for most of the matters he has mediated.
• Jeremy is passionate about social justice, mobilizing communities for increased household income and environmental protection. In addition to his roles as RDC, Jeremy also serves as the chairperson of the district Environment Committee.
