He was a member of the United Cities of Local Government Authorities Forum (UCLGAF) (2011-2013) and a member Board of Directors Common Wealth Local Government Forum (2006-2008), he was appointed President Uganda Local Government Association (ULGA) (2006-2012), Vice President East African Local Government Association (2004-2006), he was a Pioneer District Chairperson Ntungamo District (1993-2011), retired in 1985 as Senior Lands Officer Ministry of Lands.
