The Public Service Leaders’ Introspection Retreat was held from 7th – 14th July 2024 at the National Leadership Institute, Kyankwanzi.

To design remedies for delivery of quality services and increase citizen satisfaction for services rendered by Government, the Office of Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet organized a one-Week Introspection Retreat for Top Leaders In The Public Service of Uganda from 7th – 14 July 2024 under the Theme ‘Answering the Citizen’s Call: Improved Service Delivery for Social Economic Transformation’

The target participants were: Ministers and Permanent Secretaries.

The main objectives of the retreat were:

(i)      To collectively examine the performance problems, causes in the Uganda Public Service and develop clear solutions aimed at improved Service Delivery.

(ii)     To impart knowledge and skills to the Top Leaders in the public service.

(iii)    To build cohesion among the top leadership.

(iv)    Receive strategic guidance on strategic issues of Public Service delivery from H.E the President.
