Rationalization of Government Agencies, Commissions and Public Expenditure

In line with the Rationalization of Agencies and Public Expenditure (RAPEX), the Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet has organized meetings with the staff from the Agencies that have been affected by RAPEX. One such meeting took place on Wednesday, 16th April 2025 in the Office of the President Conference Hall.

The meeting focussed on the absorption of staff from mainstreamed agencies belonging to the Ministries of: Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities; Internal Affairs; Trade, Industry and Cooperatives; Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries; Gender, Labour and Social Development; Lands, Housing and Urban Development; and Public Service.
