Swearing-in and Induction of the Permanent Secretary, Directorate of Public Prosecutions

Following the appointment of Ms. Kainza Agnes Nzogi as the Permanent Secretary of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions, the Cabinet Secretariat organized a swearing-in ceremony and an induction program for her in accordance with the Oaths Act and the Uganda Public Service Standing Orders, 2021.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Cabinet Secretariat and was presided over by the Deputy Head of Public Service and Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet.

The induction program will be conducted in three sessions. The first session took place on Thursday, 6th March 2025, in the Cabinet Library at the Cabinet Secretariat. The subsequent sessions will be held at the Ministry of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development and the Judiciary Twin Tower Building.

The purpose of the induction was to equip the newly appointed Permanent Secretary with the necessary knowledge to effectively and efficiently perform her duties. Additionally, it aimed to provide key insights and practical examples that she can reference as she assumes her new role.
